JW Howard Attorneys LOS ANGELES

To better serve its Los Angeles area clients and expand its geographical reach, JW Howard/Attorneys is pleased to announce the opening of an office in downtown Los Angeles, blocks from the Los Angeles County Central courthouse, the Federal courthouse, City Hall, and the County Administration Center. The Los Angeles office, first opened for business in November, was established by well-respected litigator, Scott Street, recently of Musick Peeler and Garrett and formerly with national law firm Akin Gump. Mr. Street is joined by another well respected litigator, Mitchell Stein, a former president of the Century City Bar Association, who brings 40 plus years of experience, most recently with national law firm Thompson Coburn.

“With the addition of lawyers of such superlative talent, our firm has established an important presence in the City of Los Angeles,” said John Howard, founding partner. “We could not be more honored that lawyers of their quality and depth have joined our growing firm.”

"The Washington Times, March 29, 1993
California State University Northridge suspended Zeta Beta Tau. "Enter Mr. Howard, San Diego attorney, constitutional law expert and self-described "First Amendment vigilante". Working with the fraternity’s attorney, he filed a lawsuit against the university....It worked. How important was Howard’s decision to sue? ‘Let’s just say it got our attention.’ said CSUN attorney Jessica Frazier.’...To fraternity members, College Republicans, libertarians and First Amendment purists, John Howard is a knight in shining armor."
